Operating on the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional, the Acer beTouch E100 was equipped with a Qualcomm MSM7225 Snapdragon S1 chipset, powered by a 528 MHz ARM 11 CPU. The absence of a dedicated GPU and the limited processing capabilities makes it clear that this phone was designed for basic tasks. The interface was customized with Acer UI 3.0, which attempted to simplify Windows Mobile’s complex user experience. However, when compared to the fluidity of later Android and iOS devices, this performance was quite rudimentary.
