Performance
Powered by a 533 MHz Samsung S3C 6410 processor and running on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, the Acer DX900 delivered reasonable performance for day-to-day tasks, at least by 2009 standards. The device offered 128MB of RAM and 256MB of ROM, a modest configuration that allowed for basic multitasking and app use typical of early smartphones. The use of Windows Mobile as an operating system was quite common and brought a familiar interface to users transitioning from desktop to mobile environments.
