Under the hood, the Iconia B1-720 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, powered by a Mediatek MT8111 chipset with a dual-core 1.3 GHz processor and a PowerVR SGX531 GPU. With 1GB of RAM and storage options of 8GB or 16GB, this device is clearly designed for light usage. The available microSDHC slot allows for expansion of storage, which is a practical feature given the limited internal memory. While not suitable for intensive applications or multitasking, the tablet handles basic apps and media playback reasonably well.
