Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Acer Liquid E2 ran on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, with the Mediatek MT6589 chipset. Its quad-core Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, paired with the PowerVR SGX544 GPU, allowed for smooth operation in handling moderate app usage and multitasking. With 1GB of RAM, the phone struggled with heavy-duty applications but performed reasonably well for general functions. The internal storage was limited to 4GB, a common constraint of the time, but users could expand it via a dedicated microSDHC slot.
