Under the hood, the Acer Liquid mt runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo), coupled with the Qualcomm MSM7230 chipset and an 800 MHz Scorpion CPU. This setup ensures basic performance for the time, handling simple applications and tasks with little difficulty. The Adreno 205 GPU handles graphics, allowing for smooth rendering of the interface and basic games. However, with only 512MB of RAM, multitasking was limited and performance could lag under heavier loads.
