Under the hood, the Acer Liquid X2 is powered by a Mediatek MT6753 chipset with an octa-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T720MP4 GPU. This configuration, paired with 3GB of RAM, delivered smooth performance for most day-to-day tasks and moderate multitasking. The device was launched with Android 5.1 Lollipop, which was current at its time of release but has since become outdated. While it handled basic applications and navigation adequately, the processing power was not suitable for heavy gaming or demanding applications.
