Performance and Platform
Under the hood, the Acer Liquid Z500 was powered by a Mediatek MT6582 chipset, with a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and a Mali-400MP2 GPU. This hardware configuration, coupled with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, delivered satisfactory performance for basic smartphone tasks such as web browsing, social networking, and light gaming. The device was available in two variants, one with 4GB of internal storage paired with 1GB RAM, and another offering 16GB of internal storage and 2GB RAM. The latter provided noticeably better multitasking capabilities and storage capacity for apps and media. Additionally, storage could be expanded via the dedicated microSDHC slot.
