Performance and Software
The phone is powered by a MediaTek MT6735 chipset with a quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T720MP2 GPU, running on Android 5.1 Lollipop. While by today's standards this hardware might seem modest, at the time of its release, it provided adequate performance for running standard applications, browsing the web, and managing social media. The Liquid Z530 was offered in two configurations: one with 1GB RAM paired with 8GB of internal storage, and another with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, both supporting microSDXC for expandable storage. Users intending to multitask extensively may prefer the 2GB RAM variant for smoother operation.
