Running on Android 11 (Go edition), the Alcatel 1 (2021) is powered by a MediaTek MT6739 chipset with a quad-core 1.28 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and PowerVR GE8100 GPU. This combination ensures the phone can handle basic everyday tasks and applications designed for the Go edition of Android, which is optimized for budget devices with limited resources. With only 1GB of RAM and either 8GB or 16GB of internal storage, performance is very much at the entry-level. However, the inclusion of a dedicated microSDHC card slot allows for storage expansion, which can alleviate some limitations regarding space for apps and media.
