Under the hood, the Alcatel 3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset, which is built on a 12-nanometer process. The octa-core CPU, paired with Cortex-A53 cores, ensures a smooth operation for basic tasks. Paired with an Adreno 505 GPU, the phone handles casual gaming and video playback adequately.
Offering two configurations, it comes with either 32GB of internal storage with 3GB RAM or 64GB storage with 4GB RAM. The presence of an eMMC 5.1 storage type, while not the fastest, is standard for this segment, allowing sufficient everyday performance. Users can expand storage via a microSDXC card, although it occupies the shared SIM slot.
The device operates on Android 8.1 (Oreo), which is slightly outdated compared to newer iterations of Android. Nevertheless, this version provides most of the necessary features and app compatibility to sustain day-to-day operations efficiently.
