Underneath its sleek exterior, the Alcatel 5 runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system, powered by the Mediatek MT6750 chipset. This chipset includes an octa-core processor which is split into two clusters: four Cortex-A53 cores running at 1.5GHz and another four at 1.0GHz, which provides a balanced mix of performance and battery efficiency for daily tasks. The Mali-T860MP2 GPU supports basic gaming and graphic needs. The phone is available in two RAM and storage configurations: a choice between 16GB with 2GB RAM or 32GB with 3GB RAM, and supports microSDXC for additional storage expansions.
