On the back, the Alcatel 5V is equipped with a dual-camera setup consisting of a 12 MP main sensor. This camera features phase detection autofocus, dual-LED dual-tone flash, HDR, and panorama capabilities. It can shoot video at 1080p@30fps with electronic image stabilization (gyro-EIS). For selfies, there's an 8 MP front-facing camera, which comes with an LED flash and can record videos at 720p@30fps. While the camera setup isn’t groundbreaking, it is more than adequate for basic photography and video calling, a typical requirement from a budget smartphone.
