Equipped with a 4.5-inch IPS LCD, the Fire E offers a display resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of about 245 ppi. For its time, the screen provided a satisfactory viewing experience with decent color reproduction and acceptable sharpness. Although not exceptional, the 68.1% screen-to-body ratio offered a reasonable display size for consuming media and browsing content. The IPS technology ensured decent viewing angles, though users should not expect the high-definition clarity seen in more premium devices.
