With a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display, the Fire S offered a screen resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of around 245 ppi. While not the sharpest on the market, the screen was adequate for everyday use, offering decent clarity and color representation for web browsing and app interaction. The inclusion of an oleophobic coating was a nice touch, as it helped reduce fingerprint smudging, enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and practicality of the device.
