The display of the HC 800 is a simple alphanumeric screen, capable of showing four lines of text with a 16-character capacity per line. This screen was mostly used for showing contacts and SMS messages, embodying the minimalistic technological approach prevalent at the time. The absence of graphics can be surprising to a contemporary user, but for the mid-90s, it served its purpose well, offering clear visibility for its functions without any additional distractions.
