Under the hood, the Idol 3C is powered by the Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 chipset, coupled with an octa-core processor setup of 4x1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and 4x1.0 GHz Cortex-A53. This combination was capable of providing smooth performance for everyday tasks and moderate multitasking during its time. The Adreno 405 GPU helped in handling graphics, making casual gaming quite feasible on this device. However, the internal memory of 16GB, paired with 2GB of RAM, might feel limiting by today’s standards. Fortunately, the presence of a dedicated microSDXC card slot offered expandable storage options, mitigating some concerns for users who required more space for apps and media.
