Operating on GSM 900/1800 2G networks, the OT 331 supports basic communication needs without the frills of EDGE or GPRS capabilities. Messaging options include SMS and EMS, with support for 5 pre-installed SMS templates to streamline texting. The phone is equipped with a WAP 1.2.1 browser, which was innovative for accessing web content at the time, albeit limited compared to today’s mobile internet experiences.
