Connectivity and Communication
The OT-355 operates on GSM technology, supporting 2G bands across multiple frequencies, making it capable of basic global communication needs at the time of its release. It features GPRS class 10 but lacks more advanced connectivity options like EDGE or any form of internet browsing we find standard today. The absence of WLAN and Bluetooth connectivity limits the phone to essential communications, while its miniUSB port is used strictly for charging purposes. Traditional communication channels such as SMS, MMS, and Email are supported, providing users with essential ways to stay connected. Additionally, the phone comes with an FM radio equipped with RDS, a feature that adds a level of entertainment and information access without needing an internet connection.
