Audio and Connectivity
Sound options on the Alcatel OT 757 are interestingly customizable, even allowing for downloadable polyphonic and MP3 ringtones. Alerts can be set to vibration as well. Notably absent are both a loudspeaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack, limiting audio functionality somewhat. In terms of connectivity, the phone lacks modern options. There is no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, which are standard today, but it does include an infrared port for data transfer—a common feature back then. It uses a proprietary port for USB connectivity, which predates the now-standardized micro-USB and USB-C ports.
