Powered by an efficient 2G GSM band technology, the Alcatel OT-808 is built for fundamental communications rather than high-speed internet or multitasking. It supports both GPRS Class 12 and EDGE Class 12, sufficient for basic web browsing via its WAP and Opera Mini browser. Inside, the phone offers 80MB of internal memory, which, while modest, can be expanded with a microSDHC card. The phonebook can store up to 1000 contacts with photo call functionality, offering practicality for everyday use.
