Display
Sporting a 3.2-inch TFT resistive touchscreen, the Alcatel OT-888 provided a display resolution of 240 x 400 pixels. While this translates to a low pixel density of around 146 ppi, typical of entry-level devices of the time, it was adequate for basic tasks. The screen occupancy of roughly 45.5% of the body might feel limited, but it's important to consider it was designed to balance the touchscreen functionality with the physical keyboard.
