Running on Android 2.2 (Froyo), the Alcatel OT-906 stands as a representation of the nascent stages of Android development. Froyo offered improvements over previous versions but lacked many features and the smooth experience that later Android versions would refine. The internal memory is notably limited at 200MB, which severely restricts the storage capacity for apps and multimedia. Thankfully, the inclusion of a microSDHC card slot provides some relief by enabling users to expand storage.
