The Alcatel OT-909 provides basic performance capabilities. It supports GSM and HSPA network technologies, ensuring basic voice call and data connectivity through 2G and 3G bands. The device's HSPA speeds of 3.6/0.384 Mbps allowed for moderate data usage, suitable for occasional browsing or email. However, it lacks WLAN capability, which limits connectivity options strictly to mobile networks and Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support. This limitation is offset slightly by GPS and A-GPS features for location services.
