Running on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, the OT-918 was powered by a Mediatek MT6573 chipset with a 650 MHz Cortex-A9 CPU and a PowerVR SGX531 GPU. Although these specifications might appear modest by contemporary standards, they were adequate for executing simple tasks such as calling, texting, and browsing via the pre-installed web browser. However, demanding applications or multitasking would generally lead to performance hitches. With 512MB of internal storage and 256MB RAM, the phone provided limited space and speed, but users could expand storage via a microSDHC card.
