The phone uses a Mini-SIM, a standard size for the time. Its body is solidly constructed, designed for durability rather than aesthetics. Furthermore, its monochrome resistive touchscreen doubles up as the digit keypad, requiring stylus or firm touch to operate, which could either feel innovative or cumbersome depending on user preference.
