Alcatel OT Easy db Features and Functionality

Features and Functionality

The phone was designed for users whose primary needs were making calls and sending SMS. Its phonebook and call record functionality are very basic, supporting 5 dialed, 5 received, and 5 missed calls—a feature that today would seem minimal yet was adequate for many users back then. It offers monophonic ringtones for alerts, which were typical before the era of polyphonic or digital sounds, and it lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, which means music playback was not a feature it supported.

With no camera, radio, or game capabilities, this phone's features are particularly focused. The device includes basic necessities such as a clock and alarm. The use of AAA batteries is a distinctive feature, making it possible to easily swap batteries on the go, supplemented by a removable NiMH 650 mAh battery. This setup provides a standby time of up to 130 hours and a talk time of approximately 4 hours and 45 minutes, quite reasonable for its time.
