Under the hood, the Pixi 4 (7) is powered by a MediaTek MT8321 chipset with a 28 nm architecture, featuring a quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz. Accompanying the processor is a Mali-400 GPU. Together, these specs deliver modest performance, handling everyday tasks such as browsing and media consumption but struggling with more demanding applications or multitasking due to its limited 1GB of RAM. The internal storage is set at 8GB, which can be expanded via a microSDHC card slot, a necessary inclusion as the system and pre-loaded apps use much of the internal memory. The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, an operating system that is now dated but provides a straightforward user experience with access to a wide range of apps on the Google Play Store.
