Performance
Powered by a Mediatek MT6753 chipset built on a 28nm process, the Allview P8 Energy Pro is driven by an octa-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 processor and Mali-T720MP2 GPU. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, which, while dated by current standards, was fairly recent at the time of its release. With 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage—expandable via microSDXC—the phone was capable of handling everyday tasks efficiently. However, concerning more demanding applications or games, users might have experienced performance drops.
