As a device ahead of its time regarding network capabilities, the V1 Viper S4G supported 4G LTE, providing faster data speeds when compared to 3G. It included other connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP and EDR for wireless connectivity, and an FM radio with RDS for entertainment. Another communication tool was the GPS, although the absence of NFC was a limiting factor for those interested in contactless payments and file transfer.
