Performance and Software
Powered by the Qualcomm MSM8212 Snapdragon 200 chipset, the Allview W1i was not designed for heavy multitasking or intense gaming scenarios. It runs on a quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU with an accompanying Adreno 302 GPU. While the performance might seem underwhelming by current standards, it was reasonably effective for basic applications and tasks at the time of release. The Windows Phone 8.1 operating system provides a smooth and intuitive user interface that is notably different from Android and iOS. While it offers unique features, the ecosystem’s limitations can be seen in the relatively fewer apps and updates compared to its competitors.
