Performance and Platform
Under the hood, the X2 Soul is powered by a MediaTek MT6592 chipset coupled with an octa-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and a Mali-450MP4 GPU. This configuration was sufficient for medium-level multitasking and casual gaming at the time. The device originally shipped with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean but could be upgraded to Android 4.4.2 KitKat, thereby improving user interface fluidity and app compatibility. Despite its period-appropriate specs, the absence of expandable storage might be a limitation for users who require more than the internal 16GB storage paired with 2GB of RAM.
