While these specifications might seem modest today, they were cutting-edge for their time, providing smooth operation across iOS applications and games. Out of the box, the device ran iOS 5.1, with upgradable support up to iOS 9.3.5, ensuring a wide range of app compatibility and software features throughout its lifecycle. However, as updates ceased, performance on newer applications became increasingly challenged.
