Camera
The iPhone 4 stepped up the smartphone photography game with a single 5 MP rear camera, featuring an f/2.8 aperture, autofocus, and an LED flash. This setup was capable of producing high-quality images with HDR capabilities, and shooting video at 720p at 30fps. Though the front VGA camera was relatively primitive by today's standards, it supported video calling over Wi-Fi, laying the groundwork for Apple's FaceTime. The rear camera's 1/3.2" sensor size and 1.75µm pixel size allowed decent low-light performance for its time.
