The iPhone 4s features a 3.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 640 x 960 pixels, delivering a sharp pixel density of approximately 330 ppi. This Retina display was particularly advanced at its time, offering clear and vibrant visuals. The screen's quality is further enhanced by Corning Gorilla Glass protection and an oleophobic coating, which keeps fingerprints at bay. Although the screen-to-body ratio was around 54%, limiting the display size, the contrast ratio tests (1261:1 nominal and 2.269:1 in sunlight) reveal a display capable of excellent performance in various lighting conditions.
