Apple iPhone Display

Display

At the heart of the iPhone experience was its 3.5-inch TFT display, which provided a rich and vibrant viewing experience with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels. This translated to a pixel density of approximately 165 ppi, which, although modest by today's standards, was impressive in 2007. The screen's oleophobic coating helped resist fingerprint smudges and maintained the clarity of the display. Its screen-to-body ratio of about 52% was a precursor to the expansive displays we have today.
