Equipped with the Apple S4 chipset and a dual-core processor paired with a PowerVR GPU, the Series 4 ensured smooth performance. It initially launched with watchOS 5.0, but Apple maintained its commitment to updates, allowing upgrades up to watchOS 10.6. This prolonged software support kept the device relevant by enabling new features and security improvements over time. Although it had an internal memory of 16GB and 1GB of RAM, the lack of a card slot for expandable storage didn’t significantly hinder its functionality, given its primary role as a smartwatch and not a media device.
