The photographic capabilities provided by the Archos 45 Platinum included a 5 MP main camera with autofocus, supported by an LED flash and HDR mode. It offers 720p video recording, which was reasonably competitive in its class. The front-facing camera is a basic VGA unit, mostly suitable for video calls rather than selfies.
