Under the hood, the Archos 50c Oxygen is equipped with a Mediatek MT6592 chipset and an octa-core 1.7 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, coupled with a Mali-450MP4 GPU. While this configuration might seem modest now, the octa-core processor was a standout feature at the time, offering smooth multitasking and handling day-to-day tasks with relative ease. The device runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, which brought its own set of features but is now rather outdated for modern apps and services.
