Performance
Under the hood, the Archos Diamond Tab is powered by the Rockchip RK3399 chipset, which includes a dual-core Cortex-A72 and a quad-core Cortex-A53, supported by a Mali-T860MP4 GPU. This configuration was aimed at a balance between performance and power efficiency, suitable for everyday tasks like web browsing, video playback, and light gaming. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat, which, although dated, was quite functional at the time of release. The 64GB internal storage paired with 4GB of RAM provides ample space and decent multitasking capabilities, and the inclusion of a dedicated microSDXC slot allows for expandable storage, offering flexibility for users with larger media collections.
