Asus P735 Performance and Software

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the Asus P735 is powered by an Intel XScale processor clocked at 520 MHz, which was sufficient for running Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 PocketPC. This operating system offered a range of enterprise features, allowing users to sync with Microsoft Outlook and access various office applications. However, the software experience was quite different from today's touch-centric interfaces, as it relied heavily on stylus interaction due to the resistive nature of the screen. The device came with 256 MB of internal storage and 64 MB of RAM, which were fairly standard specifications at the time and supported basic multitasking and application usage.
