The smartphone aspect of the PadFone X mini comes with a 4.5-inch IPS+ LCD display, which offers decent viewing angles and color reproduction typical for its class during 2014. However, its resolution of 480 x 854 pixels results in a modest pixel density of around 218 ppi, which may seem underwhelming compared to contemporary high-resolution screens. When transformed into the PadFone Station, the display size increases to 7 inches, providing a better experience for reading, browsing, and multimedia consumption, albeit still not comparable to the high-definition displays available in the market today.
