Performance and Software
The phone offers two chipset variants, catering to different usage needs. The more powerful option is powered by the Qualcomm SDM630 Snapdragon 630, built on a 14nm process, featuring an octa-core 2.2 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU, and Adreno 508 GPU. This configuration ensures efficient handling of everyday tasks and moderate gaming demands. Alternatively, there's a variant using the older Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430, built on a 28nm process, featuring an octa-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU, and Adreno 505 GPU. While not as robust as the Snapdragon 630, it is proficient for basic smartphone activities. Initially shipped with Android 7.1.1 (Nougat), the phone can be upgraded to Android 9.0 (Pie), opening up access to the latest security updates and features.
