Under the hood, the Asus Zenpad C 7.0 is powered by a Mediatek MT8382V/W chipset paired with a quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU and Mali-400MP2 GPU. This combination was typical for budget devices in 2015 and it handles everyday tasks such as email, social media, and light gaming reasonably well. However, the performance is limited by its 1GB of RAM and either 8GB or 16GB of internal storage, which is quite modest even for its time. Thankfully, storage can be expanded via a dedicated microSDXC slot, allowing users to store more media and apps.
