Design and Build
Physically, the Benefon Track is a fairly hefty device, especially when considering contemporary standards. Its dimensions of 129 x 49 x 23 mm and a weight of 149 grams give it a substantial feel. Encased in this shell is an array of technology, including the notable inclusion of GPS, which was quite unique for phones of its era. The phone uses a Mini-SIM card and features a monochrome display capable of showing 5 lines of text, which was standard for the day. The electro-luminescent lighting of the screen, while rudimentary, provided adequate visibility in low-light conditions.
