Audio and Connectivity
In terms of audio, the phone included a loudspeaker and supported downloadable polyphonic and MP3 ringtones. However, it did not feature a 3.5mm audio jack, limiting options for private listening, which might have been a significant oversight for music fans.
Connectivity was somewhat limited; there was no WLAN, which meant no access to wireless internet, and no positioning features such as GPS. It included Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP support, allowing wireless audio streaming to accessories, which was a rather forward-thinking feature for the time. USB connectivity was facilitated by a USB 1.1 port, used mainly for transferring data and charging the device.
