Connectivity and Features
Connectivity options were quite limited, typical of phones from the pre-smartphone era. The absence of WLAN and only Bluetooth 1.2 restricted wireless data transfer capabilities. The phone supported GSM 2G bands with class 10 GPRS for relatively slow data connectivity and did not support EDGE, further limiting its usability for web browsing and online services. The E52 also came with basic sensor features, and it supported standard messaging services like SMS, MMS, and Email, with a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser for accessing internet content.
