Display
The EF81 features a dual-display setup, which was quite innovative during its time. The main display is a 2.2-inch TFT screen capable of showing 256K colors, with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. While the screen-to-body ratio is 31.3%, its pixel density of approximately 182 ppi provides clear and vibrant visuals for its size. An additional second external display (also featuring TFT screen technology with 256K colors) provides a resolution of 120 x 160 pixels, allowing users to quickly check notifications and other information without opening the phone.
