Performance and Software
The device is powered by a 32-bit Intel XScale PXA272 processor clocked at 416 MHz, aligned with 64MB of RAM and 192MB of ROM. Although these specs seem modest by today's standards, they were quite respectable at the time of its release, allowing for moderate multitasking and efficiency in running the Windows Mobile 5.0 PocketPC operating system. Windows Mobile facilitated functionality akin to a pocket office, providing tools for document handling and email management. However, the limited RAM was a bottleneck for more demanding applications.
