In terms of connectivity, the BenQ E55 operated on GSM and UMTS networks, supporting most bands used worldwide at the time and offering data speeds up to 384 kbps. It included Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP for wireless audio streaming. However, the phone lacks WLAN, GPS, and radio, which were common omissions in feature phones back then. USB 1.2 facilitated data transfer and charging.
