Equipped with a 2.0-inch TFT display capable of displaying 256K colors, the EL71 offered a vibrant viewing experience for its time. Although the screen-to-body ratio was quite low, around 29.7%, the resolution of 240 x 320 pixels provided reasonable clarity for text and images, with a pixel density of roughly 200 ppi. This display was suitable for viewing wallpapers, reading messages, and navigating the phone’s interface, although it fell short of the more advanced displays that began emerging in the following years.
